I've always been fascinated with food magazines because of how they introduce us to new cultures through recipes. Whether it's your grandmother or a well known chef, anyone can create an experience that can stay with you forever.

I decided to combine my love for editorial design with food by creating my own magazine as a personal project. Then Treat Magazine was made.
I decided to make the first issue about Asian American food as it a large part of my life. Being half Thai made Asian food a go-to for comfort which grew to other cultures. Growing up in the DMV, Chinese food was a staple. As I grew older I came to love Vietnamese and Korean food as well.
